The der Red MaxTM was one of Estes most popular rockets a couple decades ago. Its zany markings and comical Red Max character made it fun to build and fly at rocket sites across the US.

Todays version is identical in size, color and markings as the original, upgraded to laser cut balsa fins and a new exlcusive der Red Max parachute.

The der Red MaxTM flies over 500 ft. (176 m) high using standard Estes® engines (sold separately), so you can fly it over and over again. It returns back to earth on a pre-assembled 18 inch (457mm) parachute.

Requires building supplies, an Estes launch system; Estes Engines and flight supplies – not included.
Recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12.
